As the powerhouse behind\u00a0<strong>Stuntwoman Xtraordinaire<\/strong>, she\u2019s spent nearly three decades defying gravity, choreographing high-stakes sequences, and making Hollywood\u2019s most daring stunts look effortless. But La Faye is unique, her passion is about breathtaking action and she&#8217;s on a mission to change the narrative. From breaking barriers for women in the stunt industry to mentoring the next generation of fearless females, she\u2019s proving that behind every great stunt is a story worth telling.<br><br>La Faye\u2019s journey began with a passion for athleticism and creativity. Starting out as a career in stunt performance quickly evolved into a larger vision, one that would uplift and empower women in Hollywood. Seeing the lack of representation for women, especially Black stuntwomen, she took action. She founded\u00a0<strong>Diamond in the RAW<\/strong>, a nonprofit dedicated to introducing teen girls to behind the scenes careers in entertainment, and\u00a0<strong>The Action Icon Stuntwomen\u2019s Conference and Awards<\/strong>, honoring the fearless women who make the industry\u2019s most thrilling moments possible.<br><br>Through her nonprofit, La Faye has helped countless young women explore careers beyond the spotlight whether in filmmaking, journalism, or entertainment law. Her efforts don\u2019t stop there. She\u2019s also producing a documentary highlighting the experiences of Black stuntwomen in Hollywood and has authored\u00a0<em>The Stuntwoman\u2019s Journal &amp; Coffee Table Book<\/em>, a resource designed to inspire and guide future generations of performers.<br><br>The road to success isn\u2019t without obstacles, but with the support of\u00a0<strong>NEW-Women\u2019s Business Center<\/strong>, La Faye found the tools, resources, and mentorship to expand her vision. Their guidance helped her navigate the business side of her ventures, ensuring her programs and initiatives continue to thrive. From strategic planning to networking opportunities, the center played a key role in helping her scale her impact.La Faye\u2019s legacy is everything about creating real change. Whether it\u2019s inspiring young women to pursue careers behind the camera or advocating for gender equality in Hollywood, her work is a testament to what happens when passion meets purpose.La Faye stated,<em>\u00abBreaking barriers isn\u2019t just about making a statement, it&#8217;s about making a lasting impact.
