What began as a way to provide gentler care for her beloved dog Fluffy \u2014 who often returned anxious and overwhelmed from grooming appointments \u2014 soon grew into&nbsp;<em>Fluffy Paws \u2013 Mobile Pet Grooming<\/em>, a thriving business that\u2019s transforming the grooming experience for pets and their owners. In January 2023, Edith enrolled in grooming school and graduated six months later. Her calm, one-pet-at-a-time approach quickly gained popularity, and as demand grew, her husband built a fully equipped grooming station at home to support her growing clientele.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Determined to grow her business the right way, Edith joined the DreamBuilder Program at the NEW Women\u2019s Business Center in March 2023. Through this hybrid course, she gained practical skills in business planning, financial projections, and marketing. Her commitment and vision earned her second place in the program\u2019s pitch contest and recognition at the Latina Biz Conference in May 2024. Today,&nbsp;<em>Fluffy Paws<\/em>&nbsp;stands as a testament to Edith\u2019s hard work, love for animals, and determination to create a better future for her family \u2014 and for every pet she serves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, Edith was already dreaming bigger. In March 2024, she sought a $20,000 loan to remodel a van and officially launch&nbsp;<em>Fluffy Paws \u2013 Mobile Pet Grooming<\/em>. With guidance from the NEW Women\u2019s Business Center, she registered her business, completed a thorough business plan, and prepared for financial sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just 15 months later, her results speak volumes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A fully remodeled, mobile grooming van<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Her daughter now part of the team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Savings underway for a second grooming van<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Although Fluffy has since passed, his legacy lives on through&nbsp;<\/strong><em>Fluffy Paws<\/em>.
