This global observance is an initiative of the\u00a0United Nations, first observed in 2010, with the goal of raising public awareness about the importance of entrepreneurship in driving\u00a0sustainable economic growth\u00a0and\u00a0reducing poverty. It is a day to recognize the contributions of entrepreneurs worldwide and to encourage the development of strong entrepreneurial ecosystems.<br><br>At\u00a0NEW Women\u2019s Business Center, we know that entrepreneurship is often a true labor of love \u2014 filled with dedication, resilience, and a passion for making a difference. Every day, we witness the transformation that happens when business owners receive the right support, guidance, and resources to thrive.<br><br>This year, we are celebrating a little earlier \u2014 on\u00a0Tuesday, August 19, 2025\u00a0\u2014 with a special event at the\u00a0Tom Bradley Tower, Los Angeles City Hall. Our program will highlight the incredible impact entrepreneurs have on our communities, while equipping them with practical tools for growth.
