We are offering a $1,000 scholarship to those who qualify and complete the program.<\/p>\n
Here’s how it works:<\/p>\n
You must attend 5 Zoom webinars and 1 in-person superclass on financial projections.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
1. The owner or manager of the place where you live must approve you operating a daycare in your home or apartment.<\/p>\n
2. You must have received orientation from the Department of Social Services.<\/p>\n
To receive the $1,000 scholarship, you must attend all classes, complete the assignments, and your daycare must be licensed, registered, and ready to open.<\/p>\n
The classes will be led by experts in the field, and you will receive resources to help you improve your daycare.<\/p>\n
We’ll cover topics such as how to recruit more families, how to organize your daily work, how to communicate with families, how to set prices, and how to manage your business’s money.<\/p>\n
Best of all, the program is completely free and will be offered in English and Spanish.<\/p>\n
You’ll also be part of a group of other providers doing the same, so you’ll support each other.<\/p>\n
