For Tina Puma, that journey began in 2023 when she enrolled in our Dream Builder Program with a vision of sharing the authentic flavors of her native Peru. While developing her business plan, she dedicated herself to perfecting family recipes that celebrate homemade tradition and unforgettable flavor.
Tina continued investing in her dream by attending our food business workshops and webinars. After participating in our MEHKO Workshop, she discovered the ideal way to launch her business from her home kitchen. In 2025, she earned her MEHKO permit, allowing her to legally prepare and sell meals from her licensed and inspected kitchen.
Today, Misti’s House is delighting customers with handcrafted Peruvian tamales, empanadas, papas rellenas, and traditional dishes prepared for birthdays, family gatherings, office events, graduations, and other special occasions. Every order reflects Tina’s commitment to authentic, homemade flavor and heartfelt hospitality.
