We at the NEW-WBC are committed to supporting our community

This past Sunday, our nation celebrated Juneteenth – a day of freedom and pride previously celebrated by African Americans and now celebrated by all Americans on June 19th.
We at the NEW-WBC are committed to supporting this community.
Earlier this year, the SBA was honored to announce the first WBC to open in the historic Greenwood District in Tulsa, OK. Last month, we announced the selection of five new Women’s Business Centers (WBCs) operated by established Minority Serving Institutions around the country – an announcement that tripled the number of WBCs located in Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
These are just a few of the things that have been done and to support access to opportunities and resources for all American communities.
