The Building Bridges Event on Thursday, June 13th was a Huge Success
We are thrilled to report that our Building Bridges: Women in Global Trade event was a tremendous success! The day was filled with insightful discussions, valuable networking opportunities, and inspiring stories from some of the leading women in the field of international trade. From the very first session, the energy in the room was palpable, as participants eagerly engaged with our distinguished speakers and panelists.
Highlights of the event included the dynamic speed networking session, where attendees had the chance to connect with experts such as Pellson Lau from the U.S. Small Business Administration, Gregory Moore from the Export-Import Bank of the United States, and Simona Racek of TradeZiris. Each speaker brought a wealth of knowledge and experience, offering practical advice and innovative strategies to help small and medium-sized enterprises navigate the complexities of global trade.
We were particularly honored to have keynote addresses from Diane Farrell, Deputy Under-secretary of the International Trade Administration, and Julie Anne Hennessy, Director of the U.S. Commercial Service in Los Angeles. Their presentations provided deep insights into current trade policies and the future of international markets. As the event concluded, attendees left feeling inspired and equipped with new tools and connections to further their global trade endeavors. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this event a remarkable success. Special thanks to Richard Swanson, Senior Advisor – Office of the Regional Director for all the support. We look forward to seeing you all at our next gathering!
