We are thrilled to announce and celebrate the successful completion of the «12 Steps for Launching a Business» training program by our dedicated entrepreneur, Monica Goodwin Founder of Armor of Love. Within a short period, Monica completed twenty (20) hours of training that consist of six (6) mandatory workshops and four (4) additional Licensing and Certification workshops. She will be receiving a WBC 12 Steps for Launching a Business training Certificate of Completion to add to her business portfolio. This achievement marks a significant milestone in her journey to redefine comfort, style, and sustainability in medical apparel. Through NEW-WBC’s tailored start-up programs and one-on-one counseling sessions with industry professionals, Monica gained essential skills in business strategy, marketing, and financial management. The center’s commitment to empowering women entrepreneurs has been instrumental in overcoming challenges and achieving milestones. Monica Goodwin, the founder of Armor of Love, has a remarkable success story that reflects her unwavering dedication to both fashion and healthcare. Her journey began with a passion for fashion and coordination, which inspired the initial idea of creating a mommy and me clothing line. Despite facing various challenges, Monica pursued her dream by taking courses in visual merchandising and apparel construction, which provided her with a solid foundation in fashion design and retail presentation. Her professional journey in the fashion industry, working at renowned brands such as Forever 21 and Michael Kors, honed her skills in visual merchandising, customer service, and retail management. However, Monica’s path took a unique turn when she transitioned from the fashion industry to become a registered nurse specializing in pediatric surgery. This shift was a testament to her versatility and deep-seated passion for making a meaningful impact in the healthcare sector. Monica’s role as a nurse educator allowed her to share her knowledge and passion for nursing with others. It was during this time that she identified a critical need in the healthcare industry for stylish, comfortable, and sustainable medical wear.
