Ambiance By Bernadette, a small business owned and operated by Bernadette Garland in Los Angeles was featured in February on Spectrum News 1. Renee Eng hosted a segment, including an interview, with Bernadette showcasing her clothing designs and accessories. The interview included information regarding Bernadette’s search for funding during the COVID-19 pandemic, her experience with the Paycheck Protection Program, and ultimately the support she received from the California Rebuilding Fund.

However, there is nothing Bernadette enjoys more than designing and bringing her customers the gift of fashion.

“My designs are kind of for the ‘show off’,” Garland said. “[It is for] the person that is doing a performance, or making a grand entrance, or doing a photo shoot. The fun stuff, you know!”

The NEW Women’s Business Center is excited to be a part of Ambiance By Bernadette and her journey in small business ownership and success. Congratulations, Bernadette!
