Lori Marlow, CEO and founder of Marlow Royale, embodies resilience, creativity, and a passion for transformation. After serving 12 years in the military, Lori retired in June 2024 and embarked on a new journey that combines her lifelong love of fashion with her desire to create a legacy for her family.

Her path to entrepreneurship began with a simple question from her spouse: “What would you love to do for the rest of your life that doesn’t feel like work?” The answer was clear. Lori had always been captivated by the world of fashion, starting as a model at 18 and later experimenting with design by sewing her wedding attire. That spark led her to dive headfirst into creating her own brand, Marlow Royale, blending her unique experiences and creative vision into every piece she designs.

**A Veteran’s Inspiring Transition**
As a proud veteran, Lori faced the challenge of reinventing herself in a new career. Her military background taught her discipline and determination, but navigating the business world was unfamiliar terrain. Lori’s journey into fashion and beauty design was driven by her desire to take control of her time, pursue her passion, and build a future that reflected her values of family, creativity, and resilience.
“I deeply value time, family, the sun, and all the fun life has to offer,” Lori shares. “While we all have our own stories—some not so pleasant—resilience and belief in ourselves make anything and everything possible.”

**Support from the Women’s Business Center**
Since discovering New Economics for Women, Women’s Business Center (NEW_WBC) in October 2024, Lori has transformed her vision into a thriving reality. Participating in over 20 hours of training, including the MADE IN LA six-week training and the 12 Steps for Launching a Business program, Lori gained the skills and confidence needed to elevate her brand.

“I absolutely love the Women’s Business Center!” Lori exclaims. “Their classes, like MADE IN LA-Fashion, connected me with a mentor who guided me and grounded my imagination. They’ve introduced me to initiatives that helped me gain exposure and build my business.”

Through the WBC, Lori found the support, mentorship, and resources she needed to navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship. Her brand, Marlow Royale, is now set to be featured in the upcoming NEW-WBC Digital Fashion Magazine, showcasing her exceptional designs and marking a significant milestone in her journey.

**A Message to Aspiring Entrepreneurs**
Lori’s testimonial speaks to the transformative power of community and education:“I highly recommend the Women’s Business Center! Whether you are new to a city or just looking to improve in areas where you are not as strong, their classes are incredibly helpful. It’s a great place to network with like-minded individuals, and you’ll always feel supported along the way.”From the military to the runway, Lori Marlow is living proof that determination, creativity, and the right support system can turn dreams into reality. Marlow Royale is not just a business—it is a testament to Lori’s journey and her belief in the power of reinvention.
