From Licensed Esthetician to Business Owner

After more than four years of working with clients as a licensed esthetician, Candelaria Pineda realized that her technical expertise alone wasn’t enough to reach her goals — she needed to become a business owner in her own right. Referred to our office by one of our consultants, she came to the Women’s Business Center in March 2026 ready to take that next step.
Through personalized guidance, she made the decision to launch her own DBA, Candeline Aesthetic. By April 2026, she had completed the entire filing and publication process, officially establishing her business — now known as Candeline Aesthetic, under her professional name, Cande Valencia.
Candelaria has built her practice around an integrative and functional approach to skin health, specializing in epidermal and dermal cellular facial regeneration — a technique focused on regenerating, rejuvenating, and preserving the skin. She is a Certified Instructor and Licensed in Advanced Esthetics.
Since launching her business, she has continued investing in her own growth, completing 5 counseling sessions and participating in 11 training events. Along the way, she discovered that building genuine connections with fellow entrepreneurs is one of the most powerful tools for growth — a strategy she now uses not only to expand her own network, but to actively promote Candeline Aesthetic within the community.
Beyond her own practice, Candelaria is also giving back: she now offers courses to other estheticians looking to sharpen their skills and learn new techniques. This isn’t just a new revenue stream for her business — it’s a mission. By creating accessible, Spanish-language education, she is helping close a gap for Spanish-speaking estheticians who often have less access to continuing education, and empowering the next generation of professionals in her field.
Today, Candelaria Pineda stands as an example of how technical skill, paired with the right business guidance and a genuine commitment to community, can turn a passion into a thriving — and multiplying — enterprise.
