Entertainment Industry Conference 2023 – “Unleashing The Future of Women in Entertainment”

Many businesses generate value by providing interesting things to do or watch in the entertainment industry! Join us for an informative symposium that will bring together industry experts, experienced professionals, and award-winning filmmakers & executive producers to discuss and explore entrepreneurship in the entertainment field.

The event will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, entertainment fair, networking opportunities, winners of short film or documentary screening, and provide a platform for intellectual exchange and collaboration.

NEW-WBC is encouraging dramatically underrepresented women in this sector to take initiative and expect more substantial gains by owning their creative roles and start moving like an entrepreneur by networking with the right people and essentially supporting women in entertainment.

We are looking for entertainment audiences that have short films or documentaries (30 minutes or less) already created in the last 3 years. Submit the short film or documentary for a fee. Short films and documentaries will be judged and 2 winners will be recognized, awarded, and have their film screened during the event.

 

Requirements for Short Films or Documentaries:

  • Short Film or Documentary must be created or produced by the Nominee
  • All rights of the Short Film or Documentary must belong to Nominee
  • Length must be 30 minutes or less
  • Creator or producer of the film must register and pay the $50 fee to be entered in the nominations. (If you are the producer of the short film or documentary, that individual must have performed a major portion of the producing)
  • Short Films or Documentaries must be family friendly. (We are not accepting horror films or adult films of any kind)
  • Before submitting, please make sure to add the genre, title, and a little summary or description of the film.

Except as indicated above, Short Films or Documentary in this category must meet all the requirements in the Nominations.

Early Bird Fee:

  • 1 table: $50
  • 2 tables: $75
  • General Admission: $25

After July 1st price increases for general

  • 1 table: $75
  • 2 tables: $100.
